This past Friday we were lucky enough to attend the annual Tabitha Silk Fair. The newly-renovated Museum of Nature was the perfect neutral palette backdrop for the rows and rows of colourful Cambodian silk.
MaisonStyle was the official coordinator of the evening’s fashion show. All in the name of charity, Jana Hanzel, Emilia Torabi and Farah Studios gave hours of their time to create unique hand-crafted pieces made from fair-trade silk (there were even hand-made pieces by M herself!). The models, who also gave their time to strut their stuff were accessorized with silk bags from Tabitha and beautiful jewellery by Pearls for Girls.
Despite the wicked storm, over 200 people attended and as they mingled, enjoyed the clothes and bags, wine and food, we raised thousands of dollars for two well-deserving charities.
Thank you so much to the designers for working with us. We hope this collaboration will continue for years to come.
Great fashion for a great cause!
